2nd Grade is an exciting year! We are going to be learning lots of new things this year.  We will take responsibility for our learning and we will help our classmates learn too!  We do lots of work together and we make sure our classroom community is a safe and caring place. We will follow the Nettelhorst rules of: Be Respectful, Be Responsible and Be Safe. 

We will be reading fiction and non-fiction books, writing stories and informational pieces, adding and subtracting big and small numbers, making graphs, measuring things, learning about weather, solids & liquids, balance & motion, and insects.  We will also be learning about families, money, and our government. There is so much to learn and I can't wait to get started!
