Welcome to the Performing Arts Information Site...  

We are currently working on the following projects in Dance and Drama:

K-2 grade students are exploring positive and negative space in movement and creating 8 count negative space mini-dances with partners. They are also focusing on ear-training amd mastering counting principles.

3rd  grade students are creating short mask plays.  Focusing on collaboration/ sharing ideas and creativity for a final product. 

4 grade students are focusing on the art of storytelling.  They will take a family story and turn it into a performance piece. 

5 grade students are writing and performing monologues. 

6-8 grade students are researching a playwright from the United States.  They will present their findings in a variety of mediums and eventually perform a short scene from a play written by their playwright.
