Jane’s Place at Nettelhorst is a community school partnership between the Jane Addams Hull House Association, The Nettelhorst School, and many of Chicago’s finest community-based arts, cultural, recreational and educational organizations all conveniently assembled under one roof.

Attached is the fall schedule of extra-curricular offerings for children from toddler & pre-school to 8th grade. We are pleased to be offering some adult classes as well! Please look carefully at these offerings with your child and find what works best for them. There are many great classes to choose from!

The Jane’s Place Fall session runs from September 15 through December 19, 2008. Jane’s Place classes will not run on days when CPS schools are not in session. There will be no programming on Sept. 26th, Oct. 13th, Oct. 24th, Nov. 7th Nov. 10th, Nov. 11th , Nov.12th , Nov. 27th, or Nov. 28th.

During school and after school, teachers will escort our tuition-based preschoolers and JCC Kids’ Klub students to and from all their Jane’s Place classes. All other students with programming will be dismissed to the school lobby and meet with the Resource Coordinator & their instructors. All students not in JCC Kids’ Klub must be picked up in front of the office after classes. If a child is not in TBPK or JCC Kids’ Klub, it is the parent/caregivers responsibility to see that their child is picked up promptly from any Jane’s Place class.

If your child is in JCC Kids’ Klub, please be sure to check their schedule for any additional observed holidays that may affect your child’s after-care.

Payment for classes should be attached to the registration form or placed in a sealed envelope and dropped into the Jane’s Place box in the front office no later than Wednesday September 10th. Many classes fill up fast and we will do our best to accommodate you and your child. Enrollment will be processed upon receipt so earlier is better than later! Checks should be made payable to “Hull House”. Please note that payment or arrangement is required before services can be provided. Courses that do not meet minimum enrollment will not run.
