Fresh new programs! Check out all the great offerings this spring at Jane’s Place!
Attached is the spring schedule of extra-curricular offerings for children from toddler & pre-school to 8th grade. Please look carefully at these offerings with your child and find what works best for them. There are many great classes to choose from! We are pleased to be offering some adult classes as well. Jane’s Place programming is open to ALL members of our community! Please note that the sign-up for Blackhawks Ball Hockey will be held March 19th at a Ball Hockey info session in the Gym 3:15-4:15.
The Jane’s Place Spring session runs from April 5, 2010 – June 11, 2010. Jane’s Place classes will not run on days when Regular CPS schools are not in session.
There will be no programming on 4/21 or 5/31 and all programs end the week prior to summer dismissal. During school and after school, staff will escort our tuition-based preschoolers to and from their Jane’s Place classes. All other students with programming will be dismissed to the supervised school lobby and meet with their instructors there. All students not in JCC Afterschool must be picked up in the school lobby by an authorized adult after classes. JCC Afterschool staff will collect JCC students. If a child is not in TBPK or JCC Afterschool, it is the parent/caregivers responsibility to see that their child is picked up promptly from any Jane’s Place programming. Late fees may apply.
If your child is in JCC Afterschool, please be sure to check their schedule for any additional observed holidays that may affect your child’s after-care this session. Registration should be dropped into the Jane’s Place box in the front office no later than Thursday March 18th.
Fees for programming are due on the first day of classes. Many classes fill up fast and we will do our best to accommodate you and your child. Enrollment will be processed upon receipt so earlier is better than later! Courses that do not meet minimum enrollment will not run and individuals will be notified. Information on Scholarship opportunities can be found on the student enrollment form.
As a reminder Nettelhorst and CPS Code of Conduct rules apply to all afterschool programming. Please note that there is a
no refund policy applied to students who are dismissed from afterschool classes due to disciplinary issues. Please remind your student that the same level of respect and good behavior should be accorded to visiting instructors in after-school as is given to teachers and staff during the regular school day.
