About Us

The Nettelhorst Community Group

In 1996, parents and community leaders established the Nettelhorst Community Group (NCG -- formerly known as the Co-op), dedicated to revitalizing the landmark Nettelhorst School. The NCG provides a full range of support across the school, and is the principal fundraiser. Our fundraising efforts are supported by a tightly-coordinated parent volunteer group, in close collaboration with our Local School Council and Nettelhorst administration. The NCG is supported by legal, financial, money management, audit, and other services -- all donated -- dedicated to the responsible stewardship of all contributions.

Through the care and concern of the community, parents, and extended families, we feel that we can enable long-term stability as well as near and long-term curriculum enhancements -- despite declining funding for public schools. We truly appreciate your support in this effort.
